WonderBuzz with Nate Larson – Van Life & Creativity on The Road (Podcast)

-

Van life encapsulated but with a twist of creative meandering through topics close to the heart. Nate Larson hosts the uniquely inspiring escapism that is the WonderBuzz Podcast – an original show that’s grown from strength to strength in a few short months.

Recording exclusively from his van, the lovingly named Van Halen, Nate Larson travels across North America to offer a series of podcast episodes ranging from on the road reflections to photography conversations, van life insights, poems, and discovered stories. His intention is to nurture curiosity and adventure, and that’s precisely the inspiring vibe you get from listening to the WonderBuzz podcast.

Most recently, musician and multi-instrumentalist, photographer and voice-over artist Sarah Sido featured, for a joyful conversation that covered her own creative journey, as well as offering some insights and aptly curious questioning from our host Nate.

We’re taken right back to the beginning, to early memories of creativity and inspiration, and we then progress through a lifetime of musical influences and decisions that ultimately prove a pleasure to listen to and a softly motivational reminder that an artistic and playful life is one of the most rewarding.

Sarah opens up about her family life, her parents, her experiences in Vermont, and her first encounters with musical instruments. The storytelling is insightful, inspiring, and calming. Even the apparent lust for life that is the energy and optimism both Nate and Sarah bring to the conversation is infectious and enjoyable to let play.

Nate recorded the podcast from a remote location at 6000ft, and his recommendations for fellow van-lifers or travellers are a key part of what makes WonderBuzz an easy must to subscribe and lock into.

As well as inspiring interviews, other episodes lead with solo monologues from Nate on the road, discussing his recent travels through parts of North America, and occasionally reflecting on topical issues.

The format is almost that of something so far removed from the rat-race of modern life, that it makes you keen to tune in for these regular segments and discussions, just to hear a more calm and content take on the world and what’s possible just outside of expectation. The set-up is professional, confident but easy-going, and each episode is brimming with vibrancy and reflections that effortlessly provoke deeper thought and possibilities for the listener.
