The Przmatics The Hope & The Hurt

-

Poetry and soulful depth glide united through the airwaves, as The Przmatics deliver the compelling story and timeless soul-pop groove of The Hope & The Hurt.

Driving for the most part with a retro keys-led soul-pop ambiance, the vocals at the forefront of The Hope & The Hurt are nostalgic but also humble in leading us into the depths of this tale.

It’s a relatable and fairly raw soul-pop take, with organic indie musicianship at the forefront, and the result is an impassioned and authentically independent release, which draws you right into the passion of the process.

For one final twist of energy and emotion during the latter half, there’s also a brilliant saxophone solo from musician Chris Greene, and this lights up the evolution of the story and melody by providing a kind of expressive and seductive middle-8 break from the expected fluidity of elsewhere.

Written and composed by Mike Przygoda, The Hope & The Hurt was produced, arranged and performed by The Przmatics – an outfit made up of Ausberto Acevedo, Nick Gutierrez, Nü Moon, and Mike Przygoda.

The Hope & The Hurt is the title-track from their brand new album. Find The Przmatics on Instagram, Bandcamp or via Oakley Avenue Records.
