Beautifully written and performed, Stay, Return is refreshingly organic and honest, presenting as a lush acoustic guitar and vocal pairing, and structured in a way that lets the brightness of the chorus naturally connect and elevate the mood of the room. The verses are quiet, easy going, with valuable imagery and scenes to gather the full story from this memory, while the hook later rises up and resolves gorgeously – a natural folk pop anthem that’s humble but effective.
