French duo Riatto & The Dog captivate in seconds, with the breathy harmonies and lyrical poetry of this heartfelt and melancholic but hopeful indie folk stomp.
Built around familiar references both intimate and historical, Carry On is strangely inspiring, melodically heartbroken but lyrically promising, and the melody repeats and lingers in the mind indefinitely.
Meanwhile there’s character to the voices, and that folk-rock groove is always engaging – the live aspect making Riatto & The Dog naturally stand out as worthy and intriguing live performers.
