Something of a funky pop-rock track with a bluesy backdrop and a hugely anthemic hook, Perpetual Motion is an old-school rock gem with a powerful edge of modern identity from the band. Low Winter Sun clearly love the process, engage with each other faultlessly as musicians, and have opted for the perfect expressive vocalist to guide us into the poetic depths of this track.
An easy favourite from the season so far, great lyrics and musicianship, and a really satisfying resolve. Turn this one up loud and share in the self-reflection and musical uplift of the moment. Easily worth a dozen spins or so right now.
