Rising songwriter and performer Gliffo made 2021 his year by taking home not one but FIVE awards from the German Rock & Pop Music Awards (Deutscher Rock & Pop Preis 2021) by the German Rock Musicians Association (DRMV = Deutscher Rockmusiker Verband).
Gliffo’s huge take included four wins for the single Feel Good The Way You Are (written and composed by Jörg Sieghart – artist name Jo Oliver). The categories were Best Song (English), Best Single, Best Studio Recording and Best Composition.
Having amassed over 300,000 streams on Spotify alone, the genre-blending pop-rock anthem has proved a massive success, creative and memorable in its presence, in the descending choir-led melody, inspirational by nature and unique in overall make-up. The song speaks volumes on behalf of the Gliffo approach and has rightfully drawn the attention of the national awards and the indie scene at large.
The single Saide (Abschiedslied) – with lyrics by Gliffo and music and production from Jörg Sieghart (Jo Oliver) – also took home Best Song (German).
