Almost certainly a personal favourite from Andrea Pizzo and The Purple Mice, the comforting sound-design and the fluidity of this performance, along with the skilful balancing of relatable rhymes and conceptually unorthodox material, Hidden Figures delivers a rather sublime combination of elements. The song gets the chemistry just right, and naturally urges you to listen more than once, as you connect with these Hidden Figures and ideas that ring out within the lyrics.
