David Ratmoko - Prelude Two - Stereo Stickman

David Ratmoko Prelude Two

-

An ever-inventive and often ground-breaking composer of our time, David Ratmoko continues to push the boundaries of modern instrumental music, with the vastly immersive layers and euphoric intensity of Prelude Two.

Built around a classically Ratmoko sense of rising anticipation that ebbs and flows, Prelude Two unites electronically soaked keys, synths and rhythms with a kind of neo-classical array of arpeggios, and a pattern that pours through in waves of changing intensity. The result is a dramatic and genre-free combination of traits, both unique and well-grounded in their ability to completely envelop listeners in this chaotic yet uplifting realm of sound.

At its core, Prelude Two features an immersive melodic techno pace, but alongside this we get those adventurous twists of detail and instrumental choice, reflecting a notably more unconfined sort of wildness; something that consistently appeals throughout David Ratmoko’s swiftly expanding repertoire.

Classically trained in piano and guitar, now masterfully creative at the desk of modern production and composing, David Ratmoko’s eclectic and complex approach to music authentically reflects the diversity of his own journey as a creative individual. David has worked as a photographer, model and director in the Switzerland fashion industry for many years, and notes a BA in Fine Arts, a PHD in Literature, and a Post Doc from the one and only Yale. His music is profoundly engaging in itself, but the knowing pathways that led to it lights up a whole other level of understanding the artistry.
