Hey – thanks so much for the chat, and huge congrats for the recent singles. To introduce things – where are you based, and what was the name of the first song you ever wrote?
I’m Based in Paterson, NJ, and i think the 1st song I ever wrote was called all in the xan I think its still on SoundCloud.
Tell me about Gall3ry – great guitar riff, strong groove, impeccably fast bars; what was the creative process behind this?
Gall3ry was originally intended to be a collab with a friend of mine. After hearing the beat I punched in at the verse section and laid down my verse . After listening, I began punching in a hook and I realized that the song didn’t need anything else .
Back to The Streets hits with a darker vibe and a bolder vocal thread, still the leading voice is unmistakable. How do you decide which direction to take a track, and how have you honed your vocal style and confidence over time?
I never really know what direction I’m going to take a song. It all depends on the vibe and the mood I’m in at the time. My Vocal style I feel is ever changing because I like to try to put my hands in everything and experiment.
That’s the fun about music creation. Stay consistent while making music and the confidence will build.
Do you produce your own tracks?
No I need a producer. But YouTube holds it down.
Both singles have a heavily anthemic vibe – what is one of the best or most inspiring Hip Hop tracks from history for you, and why?
One of the best Hip Hop tracks that inspired me is definitely I Can Tell by Travis Scott. After hearing that song I heard a real rappin rockstar and was impressed by the way that you couldn’t categorize him.
What are your thoughts on the current Hip Hop landscape, and what’s your plan of action in order to be heard increasingly over the coming years?
The Current Hip Hop scene needs something fresh. Me and my brother “Khazi” are on the way to save the day. Make sure you check him out. My only plan is to drop more music and visuals.
Is live performance a big part of your plans?
LIVE SHOWS THIS MONTH ITS LIT.
Is there anything else we should know?
I’m aiming to make my 1st songs Platinum Records. EP is on the way – Stay Tuned. And Follow me on IG @nachobandz.
