Virginia’s Amira gears up to release her debut EP, the aptly titled Broken Angel.
Since playing guitar and performing from the young age of 15, music has always been a passion but not always something she was able to see through due to personal difficulties. As time went by, the singer and songwriter joined forces with Austin Riley, formed a duo, and set off to perform and play as much as possible.
In 2017, Amira became a part of rock and blues outfit IMT, taking the role as lead vocalist and ultimately securing her love and talent for performing.
Today, on the cusp of releasing the solo EP, Amira aims to uplift and embrace a world that’s been broken or damaged by struggle and uncertainty. Her songs intend to help listeners heal, find a sense of calm and oneness, and the five-track project works hard to maintain these qualities in a powerful and beautiful way.
EP out April 24th. Check out the music here. Find & follow Amira on Facebook & Instagram.
