As far as modern hip hop goes, the eclecticism and colour of this release, and indeed the general creativity showcased throughout, helps make it an exciting and non-genre-specific piece of music and performance.

A good song to begin with but a stunning one by the time it nears its finish. The latter half really lets the artistry of the moment take the wheel, allowing that alternative freedom to shine brightly.

Amaru writes for an audience, you can hear this throughout the album – the collection is eclectic, inclusive, and ever-changing; never falling victim to one single way of doing things.
Love is always easy to write about, but difficult to actually experience – from that experience I can easily write sadder songs.
