Everything from the musicality to the performances to the way in which this release has been recorded – it all works towards this shared sentiment of nostalgic raw energy & realness.

A project bringing together infectiously rhythmic dance vibes & the unquestionable warmth of classic deep house music.
The feel of the music is the sort that uplifts in itself – reggae has a way of making even the most melancholy of topics seem a little lighter or easier to handle. Everything about the release seeks to uplift & inspire hope.
The music, the chords & notes chosen to create it, have a mildly melancholic yet seductive sense of care-free progression about them. The observational lyrics & the music work beautifully in unison to allow you to be completely swept away by the song.
That saxophone is addictive, the beat has a nostalgic touch of something gorgeously retro about it, the melody brings hopeful emotion into the mix. A totally uplifting, inspiring piece of music. Listen loud.
Yung Quip’s musical catalogue is growing fast & strong. Structures is his latest EP release, along with a couple of recent singles & a previous EP released only this January. Hard work pays off.
The dynamic & the style & the way in which the two musicians connect is total entrancing. A magnificent live session & a total recommend, through & through.
On Ithenfal’s Wing have their sound & have no issues owning it entirely. Fans of progressive rock or rock with a genuine performance aspect will likely find themselves hypnotised by these songs.
The release is one that begins with a colourful & rather classic rock ambiance – think The Beatles – and evolves later on to layer up a number of world music inspired elements that totally derail the experience in a creatively refreshing way.
As a fan of Kid Mud, Built To Spill, Smashing Pumpkins, The Pixies, there’s something about this sort of performance & this style of songwriting that just connects so naturally & authentically.
If it wasn’t for this creative outlet I would have lost my mind. I want people who are going thru things in their lives to take this project as an example of what persistence & never giving up your dream can lead to.
This sort of creative work deserves to be & is indeed the most effective when it is listened to in full. You don’t need multiple sources to make up an escapism or meditation playlist when you have something that has been so considerately & skillfully crafted.
