It’s good music out there but the market is flooded. Only the strong survive. All I got to do is grind, stay true to me, and it’s wide open.

Live music is VITAL as an artist. It’s about being able to CONNECT with people & share a moment in time with them. That’s the human experience.
While I want people to enjoy my songs, they’re a part of me. A painter doesn’t paint to gain financial reward. He paints to express his creativity.

The project revolves around our theme of fighting inner battles; depression, conflicts with other people, etc. We share our experiences & rough times.
To me, the bigger the better. That’s why I love Pop music. Everything is bright & full of energy & life. It just gets me amped.
Sometimes artists have to abandon what made them successful, just to try to creatively stay afloat. You have to let the songs be what they’re going to be.
Music is universal, a quintessential form of healing – it has the power to unite people all across the globe.
Right now my family are my only motivation. I’m going to do my best to make sure I don’t see them or me struggle anymore. They’re depending on me.
I’m a nonconformist & a contrarian. People like to be miserable & melancholy or own self-deprecation like it’s a religion. That’s unattractive to me.
When creating an Alien Skin album I enter a self imposed impenetrable vault. I never ask for advice as this will most likely derail the creative process.
