I’ve learned to stop trying to be famous &instead d enjoy being an artist. My dream is to lose the day job & go on small-town tours, play in the evenings at the local VFW, then go off to the next town. I’d like to do that sooner rather than later.
There’s more than just freedom on this project, the very idea of punk holds the key to that anyway, but with these songs you get an element of provocation, and the Thelonious Monk aspect adds so much that manages to escape expectation.
The question is one that might call upon audiences to react in a certain way, (or to go ahead & Google the answer, if you aren’t entirely sure). In reality, the song is about expressing a level of empathy & sadness at the lack of such empathy from men in certain cultures.
For everything one can say about the current political climate, the fact that so many people are aware of what’s going on is a beautiful thing. We are all thinking, and we are thinking in the hope of progress.
The Humanity directly & openly addresses the current political climate & issues affecting women in today’s world. Certain lines really stand out, those that refer to the supposed core values of the US, alongside of which this distorted energy rings quite poignantly.
An EP that creates a wonderful groove & a string of easy going soundscapes for its audience. The underlying concepts intrigue & the passion with which they’re delivered really adds to this air of thought provoking mystery.
Feliks Divelli’s sound & songwriting style offer audiences poetic musical expression in its most purest form. A beautiful song, simple by design, honest, delicate, and gorgeously performed.
Despite the familiar warmth of the music, there’s a notable level of musical detail & personality that make certain you would recognize the song should you hear it again some time soon. These little moments make all the difference.
