This is fantastic songwriting, impossible to predict and clearly made of its own building blocks and ideas – a desire to express and paint something brand new in the mind of the listener; as opposed to merely ‘borrowing’ fragments of melody from other songs.
Zak Ferentz writes and performs from a place of artistry and heart, and you can hear this in the music – authenticity can’t be faked in a manner that connects so deeply.

Sack Of Lions offer that beautifully wholesome Americana sound with a folk-rock back-bone that allows them to really pour their souls into what they do. For those who are new to the band’s music, Callin’ For Rain is a great place to start. The song feels immediately organic, a real-time performance or at least as close as you can get from the other side of the globe.
Nick Miller’s music throughout this new release lights up the room in a phenomenal way. He’s fused classic rock solos & rhythms with a partly dreamlike ambiance – and has done so in a heartfelt, passionate & powerful manner.
While the song works well as a piece of art in itself, the artist at the heart of it is undoubtedly the thing that gives it further appeal. CannonBall is a great song, made greater by a more than worthy artist at its forefront.

Chris Ising gives country music a blues-rock revamp with this latest single Stomp. The title matches the content pretty well, the song bursts into the room with distorted weight and melodic vibrancy – alongside of a clear and consistent energy level perfectly well designed to uplift and motivate.
