Originally intended as the soundtrack to a film entitled Monad, which sadly never saw the light of day. Fortunately, IX saw the crime in keeping these tracks unreleased, and so – this unique & rather brilliant album was born.

The project in full is where the true beauty & strength exists. Forest Robots is a perfectly fitting name for an artist who crafts these kind of considerate & conscious arenas of music.
An artist who sees beauty in imperfections. His work presents listeners with uniquely genuine, unprocessed creative expression, complete with the very sound of his fingers hitting the keys.
The further you get into the tracks, the more addictive the sound of his voice & the inherent realness of it becomes. You can’t ignore the realness.
Traveling Outside The Body is an incredibly atmospheric, complex collection of compositions, the likes of which range from the deeply thoughtful & provocative, to the ultimately calming & consciously soothing.
The project brings back the artist’s uniquely creative approach to music production. This is the work of a composer, a musical craftsman. The sound is so crisp & real yet equally smooth & dreamlike.
Each time you press play, the experience is slightly different. The soundscape involves you in the moment, so whatever your mood – this is what the music reflects or enhances or helps with.
The production quality is flawless, the creativity is so free from the confines of expectation or industry rules. It’s a pleasure to embrace this album.
The skill & clear love for making music transcend the walls of genre & absorb into you as any great work of art should. Gorgeous & impressive to witness.
The genre is not commonly explored with such passion & dedication these days, it’s a pleasure to hear the unforgettable & classic sound of authentic jazz.
The musicianship is phenomenal, always in keeping with the overall mood yet free to roam the halls of creativity without barriers or expectations.
The magic is in the possibility, the freedom of the sound. Donald Wiles brings his musicality & enhances the soundscape in a beautifully natural manner.
