The musicianship presents an impressive & vast collaboration. Goodreid’s voice & songwriting style, his genuine nature, his unstoppable imagination – it all makes for a playlist that’s unlike anything else you’re likely to hear right now.
Claudia Meyer has a beautifully appealing leading voice & the music on this project supports & enhances that natural ability in a mighty way. It’s a pleasure to listen in full.
The music moves you, every song has some sort of emotional effect, which by the end leaves you feeling as if you’ve just completely re-evaluated your existence & are ready to take steps in a new direction.
Jonathan Burkett has put the time & effort into this to make it something worthwhile. It’s a project that speaks from the heart, but that also seeks to embrace & entertain its audience in the way that great music should.
Suburban Wildlife is a project that won my affection within just a few seconds. The crisp, warming sound of an acoustic guitar, a smooth & genuine leading voice, a comforting melody & a series of lyrics that offer both imagery & human reflection – what’s not to like?
It’s always commendable when artists put in the consistent effort & attentiveness to complete a full length project like this. There’s so much more to relate to & to get lost within on an album, as opposed to a shorter EP or single.
An incredible songwriter, this album underlines that in a professionally crisp & consistently interesting way. Easily up there with the best releases of 2018 so far.
Last Of The Tall Ships is a collection of songs that offer a thoughtful & experienced level of insight regarding life & the passing of time.
On Ithenfal’s Wing have their sound & have no issues owning it entirely. Fans of progressive rock or rock with a genuine performance aspect will likely find themselves hypnotised by these songs.
This sort of creative work deserves to be & is indeed the most effective when it is listened to in full. You don’t need multiple sources to make up an escapism or meditation playlist when you have something that has been so considerately & skillfully crafted.
Given Brad Geiger’s extensive experience & musical influences, this album as a complete collection is quite precisely the eclectic & colourful project you’d hope for, and yet it’s really also nothing like you’d expect.
