The humble nature of this piece, the natural sound, combined with the poetic undertones and purpose of the performance, all helps make it a notably unique and striking release for 2019
Awe hits so many sweet spots during its run time, it’s genuinely difficult not to keep hitting repeat as a reviewer. This makes me think real attention has been paid to the arrangement – there’s never a dull moment – and right up to the end, new colours are used to draw us in sonically. Great stuff!
The whole thing makes for an artistically brilliant and clearly well thought-out production, pop-art at its finest. A strong and impressive introduction to both Folded Dragons and the artist and mind that is SoRi.
LA’s project pronin leads with emotional intention on this latest release, resulting in a decidedly ambient and immersive audio journey, complete with a similarly emotive video that celebrates humanity and human eyes in general.

From a distance, there’s a simplicity to the sound – an easy pop groove that lights up the room as it should. The closer you get though, the more intently you listen, the taller those personal details and that truthfulness stand amidst the ambiance.
A hypnotic, pulsing, rolling piano motif welcomes in the listener and then the rubber hits the road and we’re off! It’s a clever, classy and contemporary sound, with pristinely-captured vocals (as precise as you like) treated lovingly with compression, reverb and delay.
“Music for me is very special. I myself had a struggle with alcoholism. The music made me feel good – at a time when I was down, it brought me up. I wanted to give that feeling to other people.”
Producer and artist EL Mo3 has taken a creatively free-flowing approach with this latest release, conceptually encapsulating the very nature of embracing sobriety – the intensity & high that can come from life, from music – by means of a chaotically colorful, multi-layered & decidedly alternative dance anthem that refuses to be ignored.
