It’ll hopefully be totally obvious that I thought this album was extraordinary. You’re very unlikely to have heard anything like this, and I actually can’t think of a better way to recommend that you should listen to it than just that.
From lyrical weirdness through uninhibited musical expression, Can’t Wait consistently keeps listeners engaged, often on their toes. Contrast is utilised brilliantly, droning moments of quiet desperation are juxtaposed by sudden passionate outbursts and increasing tempos.
A beautifully promising debut single, part of a week of impressive releases – they do say great music comes from times of great difficulty.
