Our subconscious is filled with things we can’t control. The dreams I have are apocalyptic but a byproduct of the fight or flight sociological environment.
This is a field where experimenting & pushing boundaries is key. The artists I respect learned to adapt to being better in new ways. The risks make it fun.
When I moved to Chicago I met so many stellar musicians & all of them were so fun to watch play & grow. They inspired me to keep working at music.
Why make music if it’s not with emotion & passion? I love hearing artists get out there & bring it. When they’re in their zone you can look into their soul.
Overall I’m driven by the love for the art. I wanna give Australia a better name when it’s mentioned in Hip-Hop & feed my family doing what I love.
New Orleans is a magical city but it also has a dangerous side. The black population are so unfairly treated. I wanted to convey the pain the city is in.
Sometimes when writing a song you don’t know what it’s about until it tells you. Often I come away & think, ‘Wow, that was actually what was being said?’.
I want to build a business that helps other artists achieve their dreams, along with providing youths the tools & resources to become musical entrepreneurs.
